Terms of Service
Version
These terms are an agreement between you and the operator of Pawmoji (“we”, “us”). They explain what Pawmoji does, what you agree to when you use it, and what happens to the photos you upload and the images we create for you.
This English text is the authoritative version. Translations are provided for convenience only; if a translation differs from this text, this text applies.
1. The service
Pawmoji turns photos of your pet into avatars, stickers, sticker packs, portraits and wallpapers. You upload one to four photos of a pet, choose a product and a style, and we ask an AI image model to create the images.
Pawmoji is in early development. Features, styles, prices and availability may change, and the service may be interrupted.
2. Who can use Pawmoji
You must be at least 18 years old to use Pawmoji. The service is not directed at children.
The image models we rely on are offered by their providers only to adults and only in supported regions, so Pawmoji may not be available everywhere.
3. Your account
- You sign up with an email address and a password. Keep your password private; you are responsible for activity under your account.
- One person per account. Do not share your account or sign up on someone else's behalf.
- You can sign out and delete your account at any time in Settings.
4. How images are made: third-party AI processing
To create an image, we send your pet's photos, the pet details you entered (such as species, breed and distinctive markings) and the product, style and options you chose to a third-party AI image provider. These providers are:
- Google, through the Gemini API (our default provider);
- OpenAI, through the OpenAI API (used when the default provider is unavailable).
Before your first creation we ask for your explicit agreement to this processing. Without it we cannot generate images for you; you can still browse Pawmoji and manage or delete your account.
We use the providers' paid API services. Under the API terms that apply to us when this version was published, content sent through these APIs is not used to train the providers' models, but the providers may keep it for a limited period to detect abuse and meet legal obligations. Their own terms and privacy policies govern that processing.
5. Photos you upload
- Only upload photos you took yourself or have the right to use.
- Upload photos of pets. We recommend photos with no people in them; if a person appears, crop them out before uploading. We instruct the model to draw only the pet, but cannot guarantee the result.
- Do not upload anything illegal, sexual, hateful or violent, or photos of animals being harmed.
- We remove location and other metadata from photos before storing them.
6. Who owns what
You keep all rights you have in the photos you upload. You give us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store and process them, and to send them to the providers named in section 4, only to provide Pawmoji to you.
As between you and us, the images generated for you are yours, to the extent that rights can exist in AI-generated images where you live. Your use of them must also follow the usage policies of the provider that generated them — for example, you may not use them to deceive people or to infringe the rights of others.
AI models can produce similar results from similar requests, so we do not promise that an image is unique.
7. AI labels and provenance
Images made with Pawmoji are AI-generated, and the providers mark them as such: Google embeds an invisible SynthID watermark, and OpenAI attaches C2PA Content Credentials metadata. Where possible we also record that an exported file is AI-generated.
Do not remove or tamper with these signals, and do not present Pawmoji images as photographs or as made without AI.
8. Acceptable use
- Do not try to generate content that is illegal, sexual, hateful or harassing, or that infringes trademarks, copyrights or other people's rights — including requests to imitate protected characters or brands.
- Do not try to get around content filters, rate limits or credit charges, and do not scrape or overload the service.
- You can report any generated image from your gallery. We may remove content and suspend accounts that break these rules.
9. Credits and payments
- Creating images uses credits. New accounts receive a small number of free starter credits. Current costs and credit packs are shown on the Pricing page.
- If a creation fails, the credits for the images that were not produced are returned automatically.
- Purchases on the web are processed by Stripe; we never receive your full card number.
- Credits have no cash value, cannot be transferred and are lost when the account is deleted. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
10. Deleting your data and your account
You can delete individual images and pets at any time, and delete your entire account in Settings. Deleting your account permanently removes your pets, photos, generated images, credit history and the account itself. You can also ask us to delete your data by writing to support@pawmoji.invalid.
11. No warranty and limits of liability
Pawmoji is provided “as is”. AI results vary and may not look like your pet. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
12. Changes to these terms
These terms and the Privacy Policy share one version date, shown at the top of each. If we make a material change, we will publish a new version and ask you to agree again before you create more images.
